By accessing or using EverFern (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Open Source License

EverFern is open source software licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the license terms. The source code is available on GitHub.

3. Description of Service

EverFern is a self-hosted AI agent platform that enables computer use, workflow automation, and skill execution. The Service includes both the open source software and any hosted services we may provide.

4. Self-Hosting & Data Responsibility

When you self-host EverFern:

  • You are solely responsible for the security of your instance
  • You maintain full control over your data
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • We do not have access to or control over your self-hosted data

5. AI Provider Terms

EverFern integrates with various AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). When using these integrations, you are also subject to the respective provider’s terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or availability of third-party AI services.

6. Skills & Community Content

Community-contributed skills are provided by third parties. While we review skills for security, we do not guarantee their safety or functionality. Use community skills at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall EverFern, its developers, or contributors be liable for any damages arising from the use of the software, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
